Establish one stable candidate reference
Connect original identity material, actual period, media and quotation to the same offered unit. The period and version review separates production from registration and dated references. Do not allow photographs from one car or a current model presentation to supply a favourable specification for another unit whose actual configuration remains unconfirmed.
Keep a clear latest record when the seller revises an amount, supplies new evidence or proposes a substitute. An attractive image set is useful only when the buyer knows what it depicts. A similar colour or translated trim should not silently preserve approval across changed units, and incomplete identity fields should remain questions rather than convenient assumptions within the final decision summary.
Retain actual essentials and configuration
Write the buyer's must-have functions and accepted status beside the relevant records. The configuration discussion provides a foundation where applicable, but original equipment evidence still needs to identify the actual offer. Keep flexible preferences separate so an attractive extra does not obscure a missing essential or unexpectedly change the condition request.
When a requirement is altered, preserve the customer's accepted alternative in ordinary language. A broad willingness to compare versions is not approval for every possible substitute. Another colleague should be able to understand why this unit meets the brief without reconstructing the conversation or interpreting a general luxury-package description as proof of every wanted function.
Keep history and current findings independent
The maintenance record review retains actual completed work and supported periods. Relevant qualified findings should identify scope, method and limitations rather than being replaced by a clean cabin or ordinary dashboard image. Media can document observations while leaving condition questions that need appropriate assessment unresolved.
The battery review keeps method-based findings separate from display estimates. Do not merge several limited demonstrations into a comprehensive health claim. Retain reported concerns and unassessed areas alongside positive evidence, so an appealing equipment package or amount does not quietly convert incomplete history and current assessment into a blanket approved condition result.
Collect demonstrations that answer the brief
Ask for actual ordinary responses to the wanted functions, retaining setup and observation conditions. The receiving-function guide keeps account and service dependencies clear. A working seller demonstration cannot establish every method after transfer, and repeated attractive clips that avoid the actual requirement add little to the decision.
For personal fit, retain what the represented occupants and positions can show. The adult rear-place decision illustrates a question remote media may not fully settle. Do not declare universal comfort from an empty cabin; keep required bags and simultaneous passenger settings within the demonstrated task, with the buyer's accepted limitation visible when the actual users are absent.
Reconcile completed scope with the latest amount
The commercial review aligns currency, supplied items, preparation and transfer stage. Retain revisions and distinguish completed work from promised results. Older images may remain historical observations without describing the prepared car after relevant changes, so ask for updated evidence that addresses the actual finished deliverable before acceptance.
Use the handover checklist to connect accepted vehicle, records and supplied items. A small amount change should not silently authorise different condition or equipment. The final file should explain what is ready, what remains pending and which limitation the buyer accepts, rather than treating an attractive total as a substitute for the evidence needed by the original brief.
A replacement appears at the same amount
Suppose the original candidate's file is nearly complete, but the seller proposes another unit at the same headline price. Retain the useful requirements while opening a new identity, equipment and condition record for the replacement. The unchanged amount cannot establish that the prepared proposition, supplied items or supported functions are equivalent.
For several cars, the multi-unit order review keeps that decision per unit. Record the accepted replacement and any changed requirement only after relevant evidence is reviewed. The customer's remote approval should remain traceable to the actual vehicle rather than automatically migrating with an appealing badge, package name or seller assurance.
Choose the next action
| Finding or requirement | Purchase response |
|---|---|
| Media and quotations use different references | Reconcile the actual candidate before judging the proposition. |
| Needed evidence remains outstanding | Keep the relevant question and acceptance condition explicit. |
| Preparation or the unit changes | Review updated findings and scope before carrying approval forward. |
Questions buyers ask
Is more media always a stronger decision file?
No. Useful evidence answers the brief and consistently identifies the actual car.
Can the same price approve a substitute automatically?
No. Recheck its actual configuration, condition and supplied scope.
