CHECK 1

Provide a complete first brief

State destination country and port, approximate quantity, condition preference and accepted years or versions. Identify essential seating, charging or software needs. Where budget is supplied, give currency and whether it concerns the vehicle alone or a broader delivery arrangement.

Identify flexible preferences so relevant alternatives can be proposed. The condition guide and version guide help separate mandatory requirements from items open to discussion. An initial enquiry does not reserve inventory or create a purchase agreement.

CHECK 2

Compare the same cost categories

List the vehicle amount, inspection, preparation, supplied accessories and proposed delivery stage. Mark estimates and explain what determines the final amount. A vague all-in figure can conceal differences that matter more than the apparent price gap.

If named trade terms are used, agree their applicable version and named place in the transaction. Destination eligibility and charges need review with appropriate local parties. A general vehicle guide does not certify import clearance or registration for every market.

CHECK 3

Keep verification and timing visible

Show whether the offer concerns an identified candidate or a specification awaiting a match. Record what evidence is complete and what depends on sourcing, inspection or further confirmation. Agree the decision point for substitutions and preparation expenses.

Ask for quotation validity and the events that can change the amount. Keep contracting and payment-recipient information consistent with the agreed transaction records, and verify changes through established channels. The initial website form does not need identity-document images or payment credentials.

CHECK 4

Prepare for a consistent handover

For several vehicles, use common requirements with individual rows for specification, history and preparation. A batch total should not hide differences between units. Review replacements against the same acceptance criteria and retain any agreed change.

The handover record should connect the accepted offer to the actual car, documents and supplied items. A clear scope helps the receiving dealer explain the transaction without adding inventory, service or warranty claims that were never agreed.

CHECK 5

A practical price comparison

One quotation includes a defined inspection and charging accessory, while another gives only the vehicle amount. Request equivalent lines or explicit exclusions before comparing totals. If the proposed accessory remains unverified for the destination, its inclusion does not resolve suitability. The final decision should consider both cost and evidence. Keeping open items beside the quote makes it clear which questions must be answered before the offer can meet the buyer’s requirements.
