CHECK 1

Identify the fitted hardware and version

Request the actual production configuration and relevant installed equipment. An L9 feature list from a different model period cannot establish the repair requirements for this car. Retain any disclosed modification or component replacement so the provider can review the present system rather than only its expected original build.

The connected and assistance-function guide separates hardware from supported functions and service dependencies. This review does not claim every glass job requires the same procedure. The correct technical information and qualified repairer should determine what applies to the actual installation and work performed.

CHECK 2

Ask why the glass was changed

Obtain the known reason, date and invoice for the replacement. A routine glass incident and a replacement following wider damage may need different supporting records. Do not infer a severe accident solely from changed glass, but do not let a brief invoice close unrelated body or water-related concerns either.

Ask a competent inspector to connect the current findings with the relevant history. Keep documented events separate from assumptions based on photographs. If the seller does not know the reason, record that uncertainty and seek the appropriate assessment rather than supplying a reassuring explanation that nobody has verified.

CHECK 3

Match the glass and related equipment

The L9 parts guide helps identify the application and supplied scope. Ask the repairer how the installed glass and relevant associated items were matched. A general compatible-with-L9 listing does not explain whether the specific equipment and version were considered in selecting the replacement.

Where the customer requires a particular part status, make it an explicit requirement and request evidence. Neither a high price nor an original-looking marking establishes the entire installation outcome. Application, workmanship and required functional verification each need appropriate support before the dealer describes the repair as satisfactorily completed.

CHECK 4

Request the applicable completion record

Ask which installation, setup, calibration or other checks the provider determined were required and whether they were completed. Request documentation tied to the selected vehicle and work date. Avoid replacing that review with a generic online instruction intended for a different model or assistance-system application.

If the provider states that no additional procedure was needed, ask it to explain the basis where material to the purchase. If a step remains scheduled, keep it pending. A quotation or booking is not completed evidence and should not support an unconditional ready-for-delivery description before the agreed outcome is established.

CHECK 5

Use ordinary demonstrations appropriately

A normal operating observation can complement the records, but it cannot establish every assistance function under all conditions. Do not deliberately provoke collision intervention or ask an unqualified person to adjust sensors for a sales test. Driver assistance has limits and does not replace the driver’s responsibilities.

Record the qualified provider’s result and any restriction rather than interpreting an absence of warnings as a universal certificate. Where a concern is reported, request appropriate assessment. The buyer needs a clear evidence trail, not a dramatic video that appears persuasive while failing to establish the relevant repair requirements.

CHECK 6

Price missing evidence and unfinished work

If the documentation is incomplete, ask a suitable provider what review is needed and obtain its scope. A missing record is not automatically a confirmed defect, but it can still prevent a dealer from making a satisfactory-condition claim. Keep that distinction clear when comparing candidates and preparation prices.

The handover file should retain final repair and verification records. If work is agreed before release, identify who performs it and what evidence closes it. Do not turn an unresolved issue into an assumed minor allowance simply because the rest of the car presents well in photographs.

CHECK 7

Set a vehicle-specific acceptance condition

Tell Panda the destination, accepted model periods and whether disclosed glass replacement is acceptable subject to a satisfactory review. State mandatory assistance functions and documentation requirements. New stock with a disclosed repair also needs an accurate account; the new-car label does not remove the need to establish completed work.

Revisit the assessment if the glass, related equipment or selected vehicle changes before handover. Keep the accepted record connected to the actual car. The useful buying decision explains what was checked and what remains pending, without automatically rejecting every replaced windscreen or promising safety from a clean dashboard alone.

TURN THE CHECKS INTO A BUYING BRIEF

Discuss your Li L9 requirements.

Include destination, quantity, condition and version preference. State what must be verified before acceptance; actual availability and commercial terms need confirmation.
