CHECK 1

Match the claim to the model period

Identify the proposed vehicle, original specification and relevant charging application. L9 sourcing spans different releases, so a charging claim from a later announcement should not automatically describe an earlier used car. Retain the source and context of any published figure before using it to compare candidates.

The year and version guide establishes that identity. If the supplier shows a demonstration from another vehicle, label it as a reference rather than evidence of this candidate’s current condition. A shared model badge does not transfer an observed result to every car offered under the same name.

CHECK 2

Define the start and finish

Request starting and ending displayed charge levels, timestamps and energy supplied. A short interval cannot be compared directly with a broader one without qualification. Charging behaviour may change during the visit, so extrapolating the highest-power portion can produce an unrealistic estimate for the customer’s required departure level.

Ask when timing begins: arrival, connection, authorisation or energy transfer. The answer determines what the reported minutes actually describe. Queueing and setup may be excluded from a technical session but still matter to a family stop or a business schedule, so record them separately where relevant.

CHECK 3

Identify the actual charging arrangement

The charging-plan guide asks for the car, charger and any accessory to be assessed as a combination. Record the station and relevant limitations reported during the session. A powerful charger does not prove the vehicle received its rated output throughout the visit.

Ask whether conditions included shared power or an interruption. Preserve the observation without jumping to a diagnosis. If the record is incomplete, request clarification or an appropriate further assessment rather than inventing missing values. A comparison is more useful when its limits are visible than when unrelated screenshots are combined into one confident claim.

CHECK 4

Keep peak and average figures distinct

As a calculation example only, 24 kWh supplied over 20 minutes corresponds to an average of 72 kW during that interval. A higher instantaneous display could occur within it without changing that average. This is arithmetic, not a charging specification or test result for an L9.

Request the relevant session log or complete sequence where available. A single photograph of the highest number does not explain energy delivered or elapsed time. Let the appropriate provider interpret unusual variation; a remote buyer should not declare a component faulty solely because one peak differs from a published reference.

CHECK 5

Record environmental and vehicle context

Keep relevant reported conditions with the result, including the vehicle’s starting state and any limitation identified by the assessor. Follow the applicable operating instructions. Do not suggest improvised heating, cooling or electrical changes to reproduce a headline time or make a demonstration appear more favourable.

The battery-report guide addresses the separate condition assessment. A successful fast session does not certify remaining battery life, while a slow session does not by itself prove degradation. Retain the provider’s conclusion and required next steps when a concern needs more than ordinary observation.

CHECK 6

Translate the result into a journey plan

Add access, possible waiting and the customer’s intended stop pattern to the discussion. A car regularly charged at home may face a different practical requirement from one relying on a small number of public stations. Verify alternatives before assuming a map listing means dependable usable access.

For a dealer supplying several vehicles to one operator, consider whether they need the same charger at the same time. A satisfactory individual session does not establish sufficient capacity for the whole operation. Keep this operational question separate from the technical vehicle result so both receive an appropriate answer. Use the session energy and actual tariff in the L9 running-cost worksheet when estimating the cost of that charging routine.

CHECK 7

Request evidence that survives handover

Tell Panda the destination, accepted model periods, new or used preference and the charging situation the car must support. State whether a documented session is required before acceptance. Ask for the actual interval, equipment and result, with untested destination dependencies clearly identified.

Revisit the record if the selected version or accessory arrangement changes. Retain the session with the car’s final documents instead of reducing it to a promised number of minutes. The receiving customer should understand what was observed and under which conditions, without assuming every charger and journey will reproduce that result.

TURN THE CHECKS INTO A BUYING BRIEF

Discuss your Li L9 requirements.

Include destination, quantity, condition and version preference. State what must be verified before acceptance; actual availability and commercial terms need confirmation.
